Please join ALAMN Membership for the 2024 June General Meeting. We will be gathering in person at Fredrikson & Byron at 11:30 a.m. with the lunch presentation beginning at 12:00 pm.

Our guest speaker Hannah Edwards (she/her) from OutFront MN on 2SLGBTQIA+101 will be presenting on OutFront's 2SLGBTQIA+ 101 Training which covers general terms relating to gender identity and sexual orientation. We speak about respecting pronouns and how to be an ally to gender diverse people. In this training we will also dive into thinking about our own experiences with gender and learn about the differences between gender identity, biological sex, gender expression and sexual orientation.

Learning Objectives:

1. We will gain a baseline knowledge of the differences between gender identity, biological sex, gender expression, and sexual orientation.

2. We will gain a baseline knowledge of the definitions for the 2SLGBTQIA+ acronym.

3. We will gain the knowledge of how to be in allyship and community with 2SLGBTQIA+ people.
