ALA webinars can be viewed at Zimmerman Reed at no cost to ALAMN members. Mindfulness is a hot topic in the legal profession, and much has been said about its effectiveness in reducing stress and improving productivity. As mindfulness becomes more familiar, it is time to shift the conversation from “why?” to “how?” This workshop will begin with the scientific evidence for the benefits of mindfulness, but it will focus on hands-on implementation. Attendees will learn basic mindfulness practices they can share with their attorneys. Of equal importance, they will learn strategies for creating a supportive space for these practices and helping attorneys integrate mindfulness into their workday. Objectives:
