ALAMN Community Services Committee has a new volunteer opportunity at CAPI in Brooklyn Park.

CAPI helps immigrants, refugees and people of color connect with the resources they need to build established, happy lives.  For some this may be greater food security through CAPI’s food shelf; for others, it may be securing health insurance.  Still, others are in need of job skills development, training or navigating the homebuying process.  CAPI helps to eliminate barriers and connects each person with that they need today.  The system can be complicated and confusing, and CAPI is there to make things simple and help every individual thrive in our community.

Would you like to help at CAPI’s Food Shelf?  On Tuesday, May 24, 2022 we are seeking 8 volunteers – 4 people from 1:00 - 2:30pm and 4 people from 2:30-4:00pm.

We will be helping bag rice, assisting clients shopping and unloading groceries at their cars and/or helping unload food shipments and restocking shelves at CAPI’s Food Shelf located 5930 Brooklyn Blvd in Brooklyn Park MN.
