The Ronald McDonald House Cooks for Kids program is the perfect opportunity for you!

The ALAMN Community Service Committee is looking for 4-8 volunteers to help provide home-cooked meals to families with children receiving medical care, offering them comfort and support during challenging times.

What we will be doing during our volunteer shift?
For a dinner shift, volunteers should arrive by 3pm to check-in.  From 3-5pm, volunteers will prepare the meal (and/or perform other foodservice tasks, such as portion and package snacks, roll silverware, etc.), with dinner served at 5pm (help serve the meal to the families).  After serving the families, meal groups are invited to sit down and enjoy the meal.  From 6:15-7pm, meal groups package leftovers and clean the kitchen and dining room.

Important Reminders:

• Volunteers should register online at least 72 hours before scheduled meal.
• Volunteers must bring driver's license or state ID which will be scanned by Lobby Guard upon arrival for a quick criminal background check.
• Volunteers must wear closed toe shoes; long hair should be securely tied back; aprons and gloves will be provided.
• Please stay home if there is a chance you might be sick.
